The XP1 is only a MIDI controller, so there would be no difference between playing live or recorded. The only thing I can think of that would be a "delay" is if you have Quantize enabled on the decks.

DDJ-XP1 recording lag and monitoring different to recording
Hi. I've had my DDJ-XP1 a while now but rarely used. I've incorporated it into my live DJ sets and i'm noticing a small delay after ive played my recordings back from Rekordbox yet while played live it's tight. I\ts like a delay has occurred onit's way to the recording through the usb cable?
Also, monitoring it sounds much quieter than it's recorded level on playback.
Any advice would be appreciated.
