DDJ-RR FX ISSUES

Hi,

My top right 3 FX knobs are showing to be fully turned on to the right (on rekordbox) either though they are turned off to the left.

I've had this issue before and required to get it fixed which was included in my warranty, however my warranty has run out and my first FX knob has also broken (snapped out of place) due to me trying to fix it.

Any help to get the other two knobs to stop showing they are fully turned on when they are not? (all drivers are updated etc, its a shame that this problem is clearly a reoccurring hardware issue)

Also, my left play button stopped working completely. :(

Joe,

What happens if you turn those knobs full right and then full left?

Hi again,

It doesn’t do anything it just glitches out going from max to any level really quickly, had this issue before.

Turning the knobs with the effect on just causes the fx amount/level to glitch

Hi joe, I have a ddj RR and had your same problem with right FX knobs! It is a common hardware issue for this model I know.. but I just found where the problem was (in my case), if you want any info contact me! As my warranty was gone I had to try to adjust the controller by myself, but I still think this should be done by Pioneer anyway, as it is clearly a manufacturer issue!

With the majority of these issues, it's caused by the unit not receiving adequate power over the USB connection; please try using a different port on your computer, a different USB cable, or connect it to a powered USB hub.

I cannot confirm Pioneers answer that connecting the PSU or a powered hub solves the problem. For me it's annoying that PioneerDJ pushs away the responsability for an issues so many users had to deal with.

I hope that Denon's Prime series brings more competition in the market so that PioneerDJ had to take care of their customers as they should for the expensive products they want to sell to us.

Dear Fabio can you please post me some advise, i haven't found a way to send you a PN within the Pioneer forum.

I never said it answers the problem, but in the majority of cases, that is the fault of the computer not providing adequate power. I'm sorry if you aren't in agreement with the information provided, or if it didn't resolve your issue. Should you continue to have problems, please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.
