Sorry to hear that - sounds like it's a possible hardware issue, but just for giggles, try flipping the switch on the back between MIC and LINE and see if it make a difference?

S9 mic input peaking
My s9 lights the red peaking LED anytime the mic is flipped on; even with nothing plugged in the mic input. It seems the mic is always peaking.
Solutions?
