Rekordbox 6 takes to long to delete a playlist

Same thing happens when deleting a hot cue or cue point.
I was deleting a hot cue while playing and rekordbox turned useless for close to a minute, music kept playing but you cant do anything else until it finishes the delete, tracks were already analyzed, and no other analysis process was running, please fix this issue soon

I'm thinking there's a hiccup in your database - nobody else has reported this issue and I haven't noticed it at any point of testing, even with over 50,000 songs. 

I'll push this to a ticket with our rekordbox team so they can gather some additional info. Look for an email.

What could be the reason for that hiccup if versiin 5 worked perfectly.
Could it be because if having both versions installed, is rekordbox trying to keep both libraries synced thus making the process slower???

No - they work independently after the import has completed. Did you get the email with the link to the ticket? If not, you can go to this link.

I noticed it as well but wasn't patient and killed the entire installation. After converting I had massive issues. Maybe not all things were done and took awful lot of time. I decided to delete the library and start with a blank one again. After all tracks were deleted I realized that the empty playlists were still in the library. I tried to delete them. It asked if I a sure which I confirmed, but the playlists were still there. They couldn't be deleted.

I had to scratch the entire installation to get a fresh start.

My library is 22500 tracks but at the time I wanted to delete the playlists all tracks had been gone already.

Meanwhile I have a working installation of rekordbox 6 on my main PC. It is still slower in scrolling compared to version 5 but accpetable for now - but need improvement.
