I noticed that Rekordbox 6 is slow / lags to open & close. RB 6 takes 55 sec to open & closes in 8.9 sec. I also get the beach ball both when opening & closing RB 6. Compared to RB 5.6 that opens in 15 sec & closes in 2.8 sec with no beach ball or lag. Both using the same music library. I have imported all tracks & analyzed into RB 6.

It is painfully slow - sometimes it takes that long that my Mac says it's not responding.
I have to wait a little while longer for it to open.
Similar opening & closing times for both v5 and v6 as you stated.

The same thing happens to me, I thought it would be a version with better performance, but it is the opposite, very slow. disappointed.
I've the same in windows 10, takes minutes to open, and it won't analyze new tracks
I have the same issue ,it takes me 2min and 30 seconds to startup. It says Rekordbox is not responding and then it eventually starts up. Very annoying. I contacted pioneer and they keep telling to launch latency monitor. I don't even know how to do that. I don't even think that's the problem. What a wastevof time. Did anyone get any response about this from pioneer DJ?
I agree, it lags and is very slow. I went back to 5 plus I do not think is worth the hype - all tho I do like the missing file finder do.

Rekordbox 6 is very slow. It takes loading time. If it closes and opens again, it takes even longer.
I returned to using version 5.8.5.
For a file finder it is not worth it.

Yes I'm in the same boat rekordbox 6.5.3 is terribly slow it's so fustrating when are they gonna fix this issue I went back to 5.8.5 but that doesn't have HID mode for my cdj 3000 smdh this is not exceptable at all takes 5 minutes to open and 7 minutes close on my Mac pro 2016 i7 16gb and 2 minutes to close on my windows same specs but the thing is with windows the software screen closes but it still running in the background because I cant disconnect my USB drives afterward until I force close it ...terrible !!!!
How many songs are in your collection? Where is your library stored?
I'm running a 2019 MBP i9 / 32GB and the internal database of 60,000 songs (songs stored on external SSD) takes 30 seconds to load from icon launch to the collection displayed. They're all fully analysed with phrase and vocal data.
Yes av been struggling with rekordbox 6 since day 1 and nothing is being done, yet you guys still want us to pay for the softwear which is too danm expensive. it's really frustrating for us deejays. All other dj softwears are fine. You need to fix this app ASAP otherwise you might end up loosing all of us. Am TIRED.
So my experiences changed after I switched to a Windows 10 based laptop and which upgraded my CPU in the proces. 23k collections opens under 10 seconds and closes under 5 seconds on the internal M2 drive.
Never threaten to leave/stop using a service. That never works. Just do it without announcing it.
