If it was free with your hardware in rb5, it's free with your hardware in rb6; DVS was a paid upgrade for some controllers, so you'd need a plan for those features.

Rekordbox 6 not detecting DDJ-RX for Hardware Unlock of DVS?
Congratulations to the team on the launch of Rekordbox 6!
According to the information about plans, I'd expect to have DVS functionality for free with my DDJ-RX as it is a Hardware Unlock device:
But the options are shown as locked:
And when I select one, I am prompted to upgrade my plan:
Have I misunderstood the free plan or should I be able to access DVS for free with my controller? And if so, is there anything I need to do to register it to my account?

Hi Tom,
I made the same misunderstanding. For use (DDJ-1000 owner) we have to get the paid plan.
When you go to this page check the top page as it lists a mark for paid plan, then scroll down to your controller and see that is has the mark. Which means we have to pay.

Ahh, thanks Ves, I see now! Thought I was getting something new for free but evidently not! I'm not too worried about DVS really so not the end of the world.

I'm just saying that i also found contradicting information around the site about whether dvs and other add ons where free to hardware unlocked devices. As you can see from the screen shot it actually says free without subscribing and the models listed below.

@Stuart No, what's shown is correct -- those devices listed all unlock rekordbox.
