DDJ-800/1000 Jog Display: New 3-Band Waveforms with Rekordbox 6

Could you just make it possible to link the settings meaning if you pick 3-Band in Rekordbox show "RGB" on the Jogdisplay instead of "BLUE"?

The Blue Waveform is hard to decypher on the small display. 

Hmmm... I'll have to dig into that and figure it out, something tells me there's already a setting for this.

Should just be a software thing. No need to create a new graphic for the wheel or so. Just change the default jogdisplay to RGB or give people the choice (that is not linked to the Rekordbox option). Or else people are forced to switch it to RGB in Rekordbox to see the jogdisplay in RGB as well.

No - the new waveforms are rasterized, meaning they are drawn rather than displayed. I'm not sure we'll be seeing them on old hardware.

@pulse did you discover the setting to allow showing RGB in DDJ1000 and 3 band in RB?

No, sorry - it's on the request list, but right now the only combination possible with 3 Band is Blue.

I was searching to see if this was possible - RGB waveforms on the jog wheels would make a huge difference to me - I don't find the blue ones to be nearly as informative or easy to read

Sorry, the choices are 3-Band + Blue, RGB, or Blue.

Hi Pulse. I realise I meant 3-band, not RGB.  Are you saying that 3-band *is* possible on the jogwheel display? 

No; when 3-Band is chosen in software, there is no choice but for blue to appear on the jogs. Sorry.

Damn, a real shame, makes them near useless to me :-(
