Rekordbox 6 Ableton link does not work.

Figured how to get them linked BUT, in link mode the tempo slider on on the XDJ does not work. Utterly pointless. That’s why you’d link it. To control ableton tempo from the decks.

Right : Ableton link doesn't work on Max (OSX ) too...With this first V6 version

BPM doesn't change at dynamic BPM, MASTER TEMPO, break/ tempo events...; Start stop, not working ,even with option checked.

This have been tested ?

other bugs :

(Analysis track hang and stop/crash / still no gobos DMX... not enought direct DMX mode to compensate missing DMX features (should be 20x midi controlled direct mode, not only X3 midi direct mode / library encrypted without export mode....)

I did setup Rekordbox 6 with my Ableton link (10 suite). It works, but partially... In fact the BPM syncs pretty correcly between both and each one can change the master tempo and follow each other but when lanching one or the other, there're always an offset between both tracks so it's kind of anoying since I can't even nudge it because the software sees both tracks as being synced...

Looks like it doesn't work! Hope Pioneer will make adjustments shortly on this :)

Sad situation indeed. Given I own an XDJ-RX, there’s nothing to upgrade for. That would be fine but, when are they going to start to sell the next gen club gear that 5 won’t work on?!?! Later this year? Super duper disappointed.

By the way guys, if you have max4live get BeatSeeker. It’ll at least follow your tempo. Not agile, takes a few bars to catch up but, it’ll work for some things.

And if isn’t $16 a month.
