Rekordbox 6 database - does "cloud library" replace iTunes database?

There is no clear information about the database situation with Rekordbox 6 and I am hesitant to move to the Dropbox cloud library until it's clear. Some of these questions may seem obvious, but since it's not specifically called out anywhere as to what happens, I'm concerned about moving/copying tens of thousands of tracks without crystal clear information. I have been using the same system for 5-6 years (maybe longer) of importing new tracks into iTunes, renaming, tagging, commenting for each track within iTunes, then importing playlists of new tracks into Rekordbox.

- If I sign up for the "Creative" plan and move/copy my whole library from iTunes to the Dropbox Cloud Library, does that create a new Rekordbox database? And does that also mean Rekordbox will no longer rely on the iTunes database as it previously did and XML sharing? (assuming yes, but it doesn't specifically say that anywhere)

 - Assuming the above is true, does that mean all editing of the library (renaming, tagging, commenting, etc) would now be done directly in Rekordbox and iTunes would be completely out of the picture? (esp because it no longer exists in Catalina)

Any other info about this would be extremely helpful, as it's all pretty vague.

Thanks.

Dear Sir,

You start using Cloud Library Sync with Ver6, you can still import from the iTunes bridge as before. Titles, Ratings, and comments you edited in iTunes are also imported as usual. Please note that iTunes cannot be played if you select "Move" when uploading to Dropbox.

Thanks,
