Did you disable Video, Lighting, Lyric? Even if you don't use them, for some insane reason those modes are enabled by default, so they're active in the background, and those can cause more CPU and RAM usage as they sit ready to go.

i found it to be the same as well. then when audio playing on 2 channels the program became laggy to the point of almost unresponsive. i have gone back to rekordbox 5. i don't feel like beta testing another program.

Same here. Has soon as I load it v6 up it takes over 50% of the CPU, a ton of physical and virtual memory, power impact goes through the roof, and my laptop fans sound like an A380 is taking off! And that's just when the apps idle. I'll go back to using v5 until they release a stable version (maybe).

Hi Pulse,

yes - I did deactivated Video, Lightning and Lyrics before I posted this.
While with 6.0.1 Beta the idle CPU usage is similar to rekordbox 5.8.5. But 6.0.1 is still lagging when i.e. scrolling.
As soon as you start scrolling, the CPU usage jumps up between 50% and 60%.
My Library has 22500 tunes.
The Library is hosted on a very fast internal SSD.

I let 6.0.1 idle for an hour and the CPU usage droped below 10% (between 5% and 8%)

That sounds that the CPU utilisation seem to be quite normal. But scrolling is still a pain.
