Hi! So I'm considering upgrading to rekordbox 6 since i made the switch from serato a couple of years ago. I have been touring with rekordbox for almost 3 years. I have a DDJ SB2, Rekordbox 5, DMX 512 Lighting hardware, Rekordbox video software. I need to know how rekordbox 6 is going to affect me since i have shows I'm scheduled to do after COVID-19. Giving the hardware and software i just described to you what am i actually looking at by upgrading to rekordbox 6? Do i lose functionality?
With the RB-DMX1 you will have hardware unlock so you'll be able to use your SB2 as your controller within rekordbox 6. The only thing you'd lose would be video; to add that to rekordbox 6, you need the Creative plan.
You can certainly continue using rekordbox 5 for these features as it will not be discontinued, it just won't receive any future updates.
