My Rekordbox is freezing very very often, the 2 decks freeze, the rest of the program keep working. It come back only if I unplug the usb of the mixer (a djm-450) and plug it again.
Setup:
- DJM-450 with DVS
- Laptop Dell Inspiron 15 5000 with i5, 16GB RAM
Thing I tryed:
- Use an energy plan that keeps CPU 100% all the time (minium and maximun), no sleep for CPU, hard drives, no sleep for USB ports.
- Disable wifi, bluetooth, any running process included super fetch or any indexing program.
- All video and cpu drivers up to date.
- Hardware is not stressed at all, memory (has 70% free all the time), and CPU (using only 10%)
- No error on drivers
I find out two situations when the decks freeze:
- When I stop the control vinyl and leave it iddle for sometime (everything is stop, no sound at all, no processing at all, and the deck just freeze after some time).
- When mixing music, just random
Any idea that what could be the issue ???

Check the Dell website for BIOS updates and any other possible system device / driver updates.
You should set the energy plan for 99% so as to disable the Intel Turbo Boost which can cause audio glitches.
Finally, set the audio buffer to a larger value.
