Pioneer Disappointment

So I got a notice that 6.0 was out.  A bit disappointed that you had to BUY a plan to get EXPORT mode to work but I decided to go with the Core plan for $6.99/mo

Updated to 6.0 and authorized my Mac.

Updated my library, took about 2.5 hours.

Went to use performance mode with (MIDI) on my XDJ-RX2 and it said my firmware needed to be updated.

So I downloaded the update

Updated the XDJ-RX2

Entered Performance mode. Hit MIDI on the device. Selected both decks.
And of course, the right channel on the EQ (deck 2) doesn't respond to MIDI.

So frustrated that the MIDI mappings get messed up whenever I do a firmware or software update.

@Gougey - For you, rekordbox is still free. Your XDJ-RX2 will unlock the same features it did within rekordbox 5; you do not need to buy a plan to use export mode. That was always free for all users before, and now performance mode is also free for everyone. Was there some other specific function you were wanting from the Core plan?

Your MIDI control would have been maintained between versions; are you sure everything was configured properly?

Obviously you haven't been reading my posts.

I purchased this device almost two years ago.
I posted about the Mixer channel 2 not working in MIDI mode and I was blamed for messing with my Midi files.
I upgraded the firmware twice since I had this device and each time the Mixer channel 2 in goes dead in midi mode.

Support has told me that "you don't need a midi file. A clean installation of the software should install a default midi file for the RX2" Well it doesn't have the right settings.

How about you install 6.0 on a Catalina Mac OS X system connected to an RX2 and you send me the midi file.  All pre-configured and tested?

I deal with thousands of customers a year, hundreds of posts and tickets every week, please forgive me if I don't remember every detail of your particular setup, our interaction history, or the problems you've had. I was responding to this post.

This file is the one contained within the installer. I tested it and know it works on Catalina with an RX2 using the latest firmware. You can import it in the MIDI panel.

If it's not working, try resetting your MIDI devices in the Audio MIDI Settings > MIDI Studio window, by creating a new profile (at the top of the window in the drop-down).

Jesus Christ that was the file I needed. Why couldn't you guys have provided it back in 2018 when i asked for it.  Finally thank you.

I imported it in and all the functions work on Channel 2.  Even the effects knobs now work.

How about putting that file up in a downloads folder somewhere?

Again, it was in the package. You probably customized the controls at some point and it saved your modifications as the preferred version in your settings folder. If you click the DEFAULTS it should restore to the one contained within the application package (which can't be overwritten and is always there).
