PITA, I know, but that's how it's functioned since the first CDJ-1000.

Hot Cue / Call question?
When I DJ from the Rekordbox software, my Hot Cue buttons work in a way, where the track stops playing when the Cue button is released. This is how I like it. But when I DJ from a USB stick, the track continues to play after Cue button is released, which I don’t like. How do I change this?

it's really about time that embedded rb gets a choosable option for gated hotcues and loops. it is possible on every dj software and also it is choosable in the denon devices.

how would you call the system that is working on the standalone devices :-)? from a technical point of view this is an embedded rekordbox system.

Not at all - there is no rekordbox software "embedded" in the players.
And believe me, it's been on my request list since the dawn of hot cues.
