Just backup on the old and restore on the new, that would save your Windows machine from potential death mid-conversion.

Moving Rekordbox 5 windows to 6.0 mac
Hey,
Als my old windows laptop is about to break down, I want to move everything to mac. On windows is still an old version of rekordbox.
What's my best option:
A. Move the old version to mac (I already saved the bak file and saved the pioneer folder under the roaming folder)
B. Update first to 6.0 on the windows laptop and then move?

Hey Pulse, thank you for the quick reply! I did not know it was possible to transfer from an old to a new version of Rekordbox, since 6 has a different database than the 5 (and I thought all manuals suggest to have the same version).
But if this is possible, that's awesome! Thank you!!
