Because that market segment is so incredibly small that it's not worth the development cost / time. Sorry!
I read that Linux would not be supported for anything pioneer dj.
"Sorry, there are no plans to provide support for Linux for any of our hardware or software."
WHY?
Because that market segment is so incredibly small that it's not worth the development cost / time. Sorry!

Wasn’t looking for an apology. I mean for the amount of money Pioneer charges for its products one would easily think support for Linux shouldn’t be bothersome at all. Like method man said in the song Cream, cash rules everything around me $$ bill yo’....As a matter of fact your reply gave me the creeps...Since we are being honest..
How does it give you the creeps? I was being honest - there are less than 100 posts (not topics) where Linux was mentioned (and that may not even be in relation to rekordbox) from a system where we have nearly 40,000 topics (not counting replies).
So no, there's not enough interest for our developers to spend the time or money for that market segment, regardless of hardware profits.
look I meant no disrespect to you...
again,
"the amount of money Pioneer charges for its products one would easily think support for Linux shouldn’t be bothersome at all"
look it is kind of creepy to know that a company like Pioneer would ignore the Linux market. again no disrespect to you...Pioneer in my book is just a creepy company focusing only on revenue and ignoring the Linux market period. sorry you took my honesty so personal...stay safe...!
"Creepy" ...

Thanks, but the Linux market is not profitable. To spend the time and money developing for the limited number of customers who are using it would not yield a positive result on the investment. Anyone in business could tell you that's a bad idea.
Sorry!
