Suggestion: Include library management in free version
Rekordbox has from the start suffered from the lack of library management, everybody who has ever moved or re-named a file by accident knows how frustrating it can be when files are missing, exports fail, duplicate files etc.etc. I have been running semi-regular Rekordbox workshops and I always have to spend a lot of time to emphasize the importance of library management. The single most reason that people stay away from / have serious problems with the software is that they can’t keep their files in order.
Rekordbox 6 Creative plan includes the ”cloud sync” feature which also is a library management tool since it copies (or moves) the files to a designated Dropbox folder. Personally I don’t really see the benefits of this feature at a 20€ per month price point, including Dropbox space. But the library function would help out tremendously, especially for new users. If the free version included an option to manage the files automatically under, let’s say /Music/rekordbox/, all the problems with library management would go away. No more missing files, duplicates and failed exports that keeps pushing people away from using Rekordbox. And at least one hour that I spend on teaching people where to put their files could be focused on fun things like Memory Points, Hot Cues and My Settings :)

I disagree; iTunes had this feature and it was the first one I told people to disable. Education should be forefront on music (and any file) management, not telling users that they should let the software locate and organize it for them.
I agree that using the iTunes library management in combination with rekordbox is begging for disaster. But if you have the library management contained within the same application you will have no issues whatsoever. People just want to play music, not worry about where their files are located. That lack of this feature turns people away from using rekordbox, after a few failed exports they instead just copy their files straight to the USB and omit all the perks from the software just be sure they are able to do their gig. This is the reality, and believe me that it takes a ton of convincing to get them back to trust and use rekordbox.
...one of the reasons the Auto Relocate function was added to rb6! ;)
Auto Relocate is a remedy to a problem that wouldnt exist with in app library management ;)
