Pioneer DJ RCDDJ1000 Flight case - placement of foam pads?

Hi there

 

I just receive the pioneer DJ RCDDJ1000 flight case. It comes with no manual and is all pretty self explanatory except for one thing:

There are 2 large detachable black foam pads and im not sure on the correct placement of them when packed?

I assume they are placed between the laptop stand and controller, but where. On the jog wheel or off them? I don't want to damage anything

 

Please advise?

You can place them towards the front of the shelf so that the laptop shelf won't move forward when carrying the case.  I have also seen them placed on the sides under the laptop shelf to protect the controller from moving when carrying.  I wouldn't place them over the platters because you don't want any unnecessary pressure on the platters.
