The DDJ-SB3 doesn't have an audio input to the computer; the mic is direct-to-master. You'll need to use another audio device to capture the master output from the SB3 which includes the mic.
Hi all. I'm having trouble incorporating a microphone with my DDJ-SB3 in OS Mojave in DJay Pro 2. I've tried connecting with both an unbalanced TS converter with my standard XLR cable as well as a dedicated XLR to TS unbalanced cable, plugging it into the mic port on the rear panel of my controller with no luck whatsoever. When I record the session, only the music is recorded, but no vocal from the mic, which is indeed turned on.
Is there a step that I'm missing? is there a driver that needs to be installed in order for the mic to be recognized by DJay Pro and Mac OS? I tried searching the forums for this specific issue but to no avail.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for the response. In layman's terms, can you please give me an example of an audio device that I can use between the SB3 and my Macbook Pro that would capture the master output, as you're saying? This is my first Dj controller so if you can be particular about the setup, that would help immensely. Thank you.
The iRig iStream is a cool device capable of doing what you need, and it works with mobile devices as well as computers.
