I have a DDJ-1000 and the jog wheel is giving some odd behavior. The jog wheel is stuck. When I use vinyl mode I can sometimes start play but as soon as I touch the jog wheel the track stops playing. The only way I can get it to play is to switch the deck into CDJ mode and the track starts playing and the cue/play buttons work again but as soon as I put it back into vinyl mode the track stops.

I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and the firmware on the DDJ-1000 is 1.07 and I'm using the latest driver for the DDJ 1000 v1.1.0
Is this a hardware issue??
Sadly, yes, that looks to be a hardware issue with the platter switch. Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your DDJ inspected and/or repaired.
