Hello
I could try out this fixture now and found out that the manual is wrong. The correct assignment of the 4 first channels 11CH mode) is as follows:
1: PAN
2: PAN fine
3: Tilt
4: Tilt find
I further experimentally found the correct color DMX value ranges of channel 5 (11CH mode):
1-9: white
10-19: red
20-29: yellow
30-39: blue
40-49: green
50-59: orange / amber
60-69: purple
70-79: cyan
80-89: cyan-purple
90-99: orange-purple
100-109: green-orange
110-119: blue-green
120-129: yellow-blue
130-139: red-yellow
140-255: color change slow to fast
Please add these values in the library. Currently the moving head only shows white.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
I have another issue with this moving head and Rekordbox & RB-DMX1. When I configure this moving head to follow a square shape, it only jumps from one corner to the next whereas another moving head nearby (Vega Shiggy beam wash) follows the edges of the square smoothly. Furthermore, strobe flashes show up only now and then and the dimmer is not really smoothly working but just jumps from 0% to 100% and back. My assumption is that the moving head struggles to follow fast DMX value transitions. However, when I connect a standard DMX controller, I cannot see any limitation in following DMX values (dimmer or movement). Is it possible that there is some kind of incompatibility between the RD-DMX1 and this moving head? Have you ever experienced or heard of such behavior before?
Many thanks. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
