nothing coming out of headphone jack on my ddj 1000

I am having problems with my main audio output and trying to fix this. It worked for a while and now nothing.  I am using the new M1 with Big Sur.

Also I never had any sound coming out of the headphone jack even when the main audio worked.

Makes it hard to cue up a track when the headphones don't work.

Hi Gary,

First, can you confirm that you've properly installed the drivers following these steps, and this security process?

Also, when you're cueing, do you have the cue mix knob at 12 o'clock with the volume up, and a cue source selected using the orange CUE buttons?

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me.  I have all of the knobs on the headphones set correctly.  I think the problem that I am having is that my new Mac mini with the M1 chip is not allowing the ddj driver.  I tried to get it to allow, but all I get when I do get to that place is a message that says "Open Anyway" and not "Allow".

So I will try the process under "this security process" and see if that helps.

When I go to preferences on the Rekordbox software under audio, I only have the option for OUTPUT 1 and OUTPUT 2, and nothing that offers ddj1000.  So my Mac mini with M1 is not allowing the driver.

Thanks for the link to the security process.  I tried to hold down the on button, but just started the computer, and didn't go to the Start Up Disk. Maybe I can call Apple Care for help, unlike Pioneer DJ, they actually offer phone support.

Thanks again for the help.
