I have Pioneer DJM-V10, I checked some option to record my mixes and figured there is an option to buy external recorders (for example: Reloop Tape 2 or TASCAM DR-40X) and use them without the need for computer to record the mix.
1. Currently i know there is a problem with recording mixes with DJM-REC - is it suppose also to make problem to recording mixes with external recorder or it completly different method?
2. What is the most reliable and high quality way of recording mixes when using the following setup (Mixer: Pioneer DJM-V10, CDJ: Pioneer CDJ-3000 (Pair))?

DJM-REC issues aside, the best way is the DJM-REC. Next options would be using the USB or digital outputs to record to a computer or other digital recorder. Worst of the bunch would be just to a line input for another recorder.

How do i record to digital recorder? for example the TASCAM DR-40X?
Where are the digital outputs you talked about in the mixer?! i see there is only 6 digital INPUTS in the mixer which i guess not relevant, and 2 REC OUT rca outputs in the mixer?
And also if you can help me where to connect on the TASCAM DR-40X?

Sorry Guy, my mistake - I forgot that they removed the digital coax output from the V10! Yeah, you'd have to use the analog RCA outputs. Honestly, if you could tell the difference between the digital and analog outs for the recording, I'd happily trade ears. ;)
