What's the source -- library or export device?
Anybody else having issues playing tracks with 6.5.3?
For some reason when I press the play button after loading a track it won't play. Tried various file formats.
When I switch back to 6.5.2 the issue is gone.
Windows 10 19042.1165
Rekordbox 6.5.3

Library.
Some additional info.
When I switch to Performance mode playback works. When I switch back to Export Mode playback works.
If I close RB and reopen it after a few minutes in Export Mode an try to play a track nothing happens again. And when I switch to Performance Mode playback works again.
Had same issue, but it fixed itself, after switching to Performance mode and back to Export mode once, after that works like before.
For me the issue sticks every time I start in Export.
I checked a few other people and they reported no issue. Seems like an isolated case. My luck again.
Good think the work around fixes it. Most people probably won't notice it as they start in Performance Mode.
As I discovered, it actually happens to me as well. But only for second player in export mode. Switching to Performance mode cures it, but only until next Rekordbox launch.
I don't use performance mode much, but apparently now I kind of have to :/
Have either of you checked the audio settings in Export before you switch to Performance? Compare before / after...?
I have checked it, no visible changes in audio settings.
Player 1 (upper one) always works fine, every time. For me it is Player 2 (lower one) in Export mode, which refuses to play and can be cured by switching to performance mode and back.
As I rarely use two players in Export mode, I actually did not even notice that immediately. Odd thing is it never occurred on older versions..
I did check. I even thought it might have been due to my mixer but unplugged or not the behavior happens.
The fact that when I switch from from Export to Performance and it has the same audio setting and then switch back to Export mode and playback works means it's something else. Which is pretty annoying since with 6.5.2 there is no problem and it uses the same exact settings.
I tried replicating this on my end and was unable to get it to not play... I'll ask you guys to please file an inquiry ticket here and post here when you do, I'll link both tickets to our engineers.
Will do.
For your info, 6.5.3 is not listed as version number in the rekordbox Version section
EDIT: Request #302597
I was like "What? I added that the other day!"... and then I realized there were two entries for 6.5.2. <facepalm>
Thanks, waiting for @Etz to file his ticket.
Submitted, for me 6.5.3 was there, unfortunately I did not get any ticket number.
Thanks guys, assigned both of those to our rekordbox engineers for review.
Just wanted to inform, this has been solved in Rekordbox 6.6.0
Please thank the engineers!
Yay!
Can confirm, it is fixed on latest 6.6.0, thanks :)
Party time!
