Record "inside" the software

Hello,

 

I use the following setup:

Mixer: Pioneer DJM-V10

CDJ: Pioneer CDJ-3000 (2 Units)

 

I want to record inside recordbox exactly as i used when i was using my Pioneer DDJ-400 controller, to open Rekordbox and hit the record button and the software get me out perfect quality in the mix recorded.

 

Do i need to use use the HID mode for this purpose?!

or just connect to USB-B - USB-C cable from the USB/MIDI port on the mixer to my Macbook Pro?

What the difference between connecting just the mixer to the computer or using HID mode in terms of the recording method?

As long as you have configured the V10 as your audio device in rekordbox, and set one of the outputs for MIX (REC OUT), and that is selected as the recording input in rekordbox, you should be set:
