Updated to 6.5.3 means i cannot setup in HID anymore. WHY?

Hi, I need help ASAP. I've recently upgraded from 6.5.2 to 6.5.3. Has Pioneer decided to change the HID Mode setup process, now, it's giving a link button option in the bottom left corner (click that & now your computer is pretty much just a external hard drive like a USB, as in, it doesn't even show you the track waveform or ANY other info on the main display in the software. It's just a blank screen with two boxes at the bottom of the page with the track id's in them.... song's are playing out load but your looking at a blank screen?? i feel like i'm being really slow but i'm stuck, PLEASE HELP!!

Right, Here's the questions:

Most importantly, How can i use the Rekordbox 6.5.3 with 2 cdj's 2000 nxs2 in HID MODE as normal (like in 6.5.2 an before)? 

Do i need a to do something new/different in preferences settings?

Why doesn't the aggregate devices work when setting up in 6.5.3? as it did in 6.5.2 and previous versions of the software

ANYONE PLEASE HELP

P.S. i have all cables an wires needed and its not a hardware issue 100%
