Official comment
The XDJ-RX has quantized beat effects which snap to the rekordbox grid whereas the DJM-450 only has BPM info and not quantize. Sorry!

DJM 450 - So disappointed
Best part of £700 on a mixer that the effects are practically unusable. No quantise. Even when the BPM are aligned it's just pants. Just sounds messy. Very disappointed.

Dive deeper into manual, been using it for years and I experienced none of aforementioned issues

Been through the manual. Maybe my previous mixer FX on the XDJ RX were just better? I use trans FX a fair bit on 1/2 beats, on the 450 it just doesn't align to the beats like it would do If quantise was an option.
