License Rekordbox and DDJ SX
Do i still need to purchase a Rekordbox license to use my DDJ SX or i can just use the free version?

If you have a license you can use it with Rekordbox 5. However they aren't actively sold anymore.
The DDJ-SX isn't a hardware unlock device for Rekordbox.
