Actually I have found the solution, just wanted to share with people.
I bought a new USB stick which was not in the right format. I had to format it to FAT32, and now it runs very quick!

Rekordbox INCREDIBLY slow on Macbook Pro
Hi,
I recently bought a new Macbook Pro version 2020 with 8 GB Ram.
Unfortunately doing something in Rekordbox after plugging in my USB (with a USB-C converter obviously due to USB-C ports) takes an incredible amount of time.
ANYTHING I do, each click results in Rekordbox kind of freezing, and taking 10 seconds at least to perform that action. Analyzing my 3600 tracks took about 36 hours in Performance mode.
It is driving me crazy, especially as before I had a Macbook Air 2015 and Rekordbox was running so smooth there so I would expect a brand new Pro to be working at least equally as good...
Following actions I have tried to take to make it better:
- Reinstall Rekordbox
- Dedicate max amount of memory to Rekordbox using Terminal
I honestly don't know what to do else and would like to ask the forum for help!
