Two very easy questions
Hi all, new to the forum.
Just got two CDJ-3000 players and wondered if somebody could answer two quick questions I have...
1. Are the playlists on Rkordbox still limited to 1000 (or 999) tracks?
I read that this used to be the case but can't seem to find amy updated information on this to clarify. I know 1000 is a lot of tracks for most but my collection consists of some 10,000 tunes and I just want them all in one big playlist, no matter how long it takes to scroll through...
2. Does anybody know of a fast way to change the metadata contained in the tracks in my collection to represent the name of the file?
I took the time to rename every single track I own to a file that is clear and easy to read when scrolling. However, when the tracks show up in the 'collection' folder in Rekordbox, they appear differently. I know that you can rename them in here too but to my knowledge only one track at a time. It will take far too long to go through every last track and make any changes.
I know some older programmes would deal with this issue in bulk for mp3 files at least, but just to be even more needy, my collection now consists of many different audio formats (.WAV/.MP3/.FLAC/.M4A) etc etc and so I am looking for a program that will read all of these formats when making changes to the metadata of each track.
I am hoping what i've typed makes sense?
I would very much appreciate any help that can be offered on these two questions.
Thank you so much
Martin
