can rate a track in xdj1000mk2, but not cdj3000?

I've just upgraded to the 3000's, and they're just beautiful.

But, for the life of me, I don't understand why I can't rate a track whilst playing?  I could do this on the xdj1000, and it's such a handy tool to have.

Are there plans to port this across?

It's been on the list since launch but I'm not sure if there's some other technical hurdle preventing it from being included as we still have no details. Thanks for your feedback.
