Certain Pad FX not working when connecting my DDJ-800 to my computer

I have a brand new DDJ 800 and all works well except certain Pad FX. As soon as I connect the controller to my laptop, a number of effects just don't work in Pad FX mode (All Release FX, Echo, Reverb, and others). But other Pad FX like Rolls, Delay, Trans are working. How do I fix this?

The Pads themselves work and they register, so it's not mechanical. And when the controller isn't hooked up I can play those effects in the software and they work fine.

My drivers and firmware are completely up to date (I even reinstalled), I'm running Windows 10 and Rekordbox v6.0.3

Thanks.

Can you get this on video so we can better understand where the cause of the issue might be? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. When I wrote about this problem i was in a headphone-cue only setup. When I set up my decks to speakers, I found out that the problem didn't exist in speakers. And so it only exists in headphone cue. Is this supposed to happen? Here is a demonstration of me switching between speaker/headphones/speaker for a simple Echo Pad FX.

The best I could do was share an iCloud video link. Please let me know once you have seen this as I'll delete the comment just because the link has identifiable information.

Aha, yes - that would be it; some of the effects are post-fader, which means they're not previewed in the headphones when cueing the channel, only the master because the channel cue is pre-fader. Totally normal function.
