I have tried 14 times now, it never finishes, I have 30k tracks and its taking over 14 hours to do about a 1/4 of that, why is it taking so long? why doesnt it work?

2.6 Ghz Intel Core i7

Sorry to hear that, but thank you for the feedback. Our team is working to improve the performance all the time -- we've found that some external drives create really long conversion / analysis times.

I had 50k tracks and it took mine 10 hours just to get to 40% complete. I went to bed and checked it around 10 hours later and it was done. At that point I began adding the new analysis data to each track (select all, Add new analysis data). I let that run for most of today and it still has around 12k tracks to go. I am using a core i7 desktop. It takes way too long for the library conversion. It appeared to be using 1 thread on 1 core to do that. If they would use all available threads in all 4 cores of my i7 chip, it seems it would have went faster. I have it set to performance analysis. It does use all available threads to add the new analysis data but that library conversion could be quicker if it was optimized. Just my experience.
