Sharing Dropbox library between 2 different Rekordbox 6 Users?

I've seen this asked in a few different ways, but so far I haven't seen any responses / answers...

Anyway, is it possible for 2 people with their own Dropbox and Rekordbox 6 accounts share the same database where all tracks and metadata showup in both Rekordbox accounts? Like User 1 would be able to add a track with metadata, cue points, etc and it would appear in User 2's Rekordbox as well?

We already share the same Dropbox folder, and if User #1 adds a track file in the Dropbox database then User 2 can immediately see it on Dropbox. However if User #1 has run that track through User 1's Rekordbox, it will only show up for User 1 and not "push" that track file to User 2's Rekordbox. Which makes sense because User 2's Rekordbox wouldn't even know to "look" for that track.

Anyone know any workflows or settings to solve this?

Yes and no...

Yes, you could do it with shared Dropbox folders, but no, it would have to be the same rekordbox account.

Unfortunately as this is not a supported configuration, that's all the assistance I can provide on the matter.

Thanks Pulse - I understand what you're saying.

I appreciate the response and you've also been super helpful answering some other questions I had so thanks for what you do for the community. I tried to thank you on some of the other threads or at least acknowledge that I got your answer, but I always have issues being able to reply to posts on Pioneer's site. It usually take a few times clearing out all cookies, cache, restarting my computer... but I am getting the responses and super grateful for your insights!

Hey Shane - appreciate the compliment. :) I don't always get around to every post, and don't always have the answer, but I'm here to help find it! Glad I could help you out.
