This problem is since 6.x and i wrote before - didn't get an answer. I made a video now.
The problem:
If i use realted tracks window to show me the tracks i already played before/after the current track, it freezes. It freezes with tracks, that i played a lot. Tracks with more than 200 play counts need more than 10 seconds (beach ball), 100 played songs freeze 5 seconds. new tracks have no problem (you can see it in the video).
It is not an issue with my macbook (2017, 2.9Ghz, 16GB), it is not an issue with lightning/lyrics or something on (everything deactivated). It is not an issue with the latency, using 11.6 MS.
i did NOT have this issue with 5.x versions.
AND: I really need this function and it is the greatest advantage compared to other software.
As a professional DJ it is very frustrating to have a frozen desktop every song!
I'm writing the second time now. Would be nice to have a helpful support.

I have the same thing happening, and it is believed that the freezing increases with the increase in the operating time of RB 6.0.0-6.0.4
MACBOOK AIR 13 (2017) i5, 8GB ram.
p. s. Periodically, the Related Track list flashes, even if no actions are performed.

The Related Track list "reloads" itself and freezes the system again. It happens if you want to search something or with other actions...
Hello Rekordbox? Did you watch the video and are you understanding the problem?
Turning the preview column off (Right click column header and untick preview) speeds things up no end but does limit functionality a little. The problem occurs when the database becomes too large. (150,000 tracks here).
There is a lot to do to improve the functionality of Rekordbox. Being able to split databases I think would go a long way to help.
i have 20 000 tracks on my laptop and disabling the preview has no affect on my issue. the preview function is very important to.
i'm still on it with the team of pioneer, but no solution yet. i stepped back to RB 5 which works perfectly
