I wouldn't worry about it, so long as everything else is working properly.
I hesitate calling this a defect because I'm not entirely sure if it is. However, for those with the Pioneer XDJ-XZ, or heck, even the XDJ-RR/RX/RX2, has anybody else discovered a small gap where the sides of the 7" touchscreen meet the body of the unit? I've attached pictures to show you what I mean. Now, mind you, I literally had this delivered from Sam Ash via Fed Ex on Tuesday of this past week so I've had it for 5 days.
So, standing where I would play from, the gap is on the right side. For clarity purposes, I've come around to the front of the unit so this is on my left but it's the right side of the unit if you know what I mean.
-Shot of the right side with gap

-Shot of left side, no gap

-Again, shot of right with gap

-Shot of left, no gap

Basically, I just want to know if this is something I should be concerned of or if it's not a big deal.

Mine is from June 2020 manufacture date, same here the right side has gap whereas the
left does not. I picked up the device from the store so it's not the shipping defect for sure.
I see Official comment which now makes me think that the rest may not have gap...ummh.
May or may not - it's within manufacturing tolerances.
I have no issues as all seems to work as expected.
So, what are the, "manufacturing tolerances," and where can I see a copy or find those numbers?
Sorry, they're not published or available to the public. From the images provided, it appears to be what is considered normal. If you are concerned about it, please contact your retailer for an exchange or replacement.
the screen module is clearly a separate module from the rest of the deck so it is normal to have some ''play'' to fit it in. I would not worry about it.
