What’s the point.

Why post here, I see a majority of “0 Comments” and very few responses. Are these active forums or is Pioneer DJ hiding its head in the sand. Asking for a friend.

There are many posts - not all get responses as many have answers just a quick Google result away (many of which are on this very forum), but for those which do merit a response, we're getting to them as we can and thank you for your patience.

You can tell your friend that XML support is something our engineers are considering but we don't have any other information. You can also tell your friend to disable the waveform preview column in the library / playlist and browsing will significantly speed up. It's also something the team is aware of and working to improve. And finally, since you're such a good friend, you can tell them that if they have an OpenGL issue with Lyric, that they should probably file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist them in resolving that particular issue.

Well it is very difficult to use this forum. A., the forum is not visible form the Pioneerdj website. B. if you are logged in/on, and leave and come back, you still are logged in/on, but if you want to reply you have to exit en log on again. And sometimes that wont even do the trick. C. response from Pioneer it self should be mandatory on ALL topics. D. pioneer could do more on promoting this forum so there will be more interaction between new people and perhaps even big stars who are endorsed by pioneer. E. they should get someone with it knowledge who is monitoring and maintaining this forum software, because it is relative buggy from time to time.

But in general i have the same feeling. I am not new to the business. I started in the 70/80's with tapedeck and Revox and cellotape, in the 90's with Technics SL1200's and a drive in show as it was called then. En since a few years with Pioneer CDJ's etc.

I would like to learn more on rekordbox etc, but now have the feeling i will get more info etc from Youtube instead.

And finally they should make mandatory that you use ENGLISH! I am not an native speaker, but still with google translate you can post in ENGLISH. My German and Dutch is great but my Italian, Spanish, French are not so good, and even German postings are less helpfull because nobody understands it, or they might but do not have the answer.

The login problem is likely due to your browser blocking cross-domain (cross-site) data. Allow it to be used on this site and that should clear the login problem You also should delete any cached cookies for the following domains:

*.pioneerdj.com
*.zendesk.com
*.gigya.com
*.rekordbox.com

The forum is accessible from several locations on PioneerDJ.com, so I'm not sure about that comment.

Yes, you will get more info on rekordbox from YouTube videos - we have several there on our channels.

We don't limit the language to English. It's my native language, and I speak French fluently, but I answer Spanish posts all the time. We are a global community.

Just want to say that having logged an issue via the Pioneer enquiry form last week, as my Rekordbox 6.0.4 wouldn't start without asking me to convert my library again, the amazing Pioneer DJ Global Support member Hiroyuki fixed my issue via remote assist within 5 minutes (once we got past the tricky remote assist issues, which aren't Pioneers fault) and I have complete access to my library, playlists and tags that I thought I had lost. They were also more than happy to answer other questions I had for them too.

It's easy to slate support teams on a forum but if you actually go through the correct process to give them the info, access and time that they need, then they can fix your issue.

Thanks Pioneer :)

Looking forward to 6.0.5 soon. ;P

i am not bashing Pioneer or its employees! I am just saying (and that is my beta testing experience) that the forum software is not working according like it should work, and works all over the internet. I do not have to log on or have to, but never i am logged on and can not do anything when returning, and have to log off and on again. So like you are being supported remotely, this should be on their regular IT departments Backlog for next sprint. And this forum or how it works does not have anything to do with Pioneer when addressing clients.

But i do think that more people have more thoughts. And therefore, of Pioneer had its forum more in the spotlight, i would be more visible and if people would reply in English only there would be more answers. I understand why there ar spanish, french, german etc people because of the size of the countries, but that should not be te case.

This should be also a forum for users who will be able to help and although it is, more visibility etc could response in more answers.

I have to go to google and type pioneer dj forum because i might be stupid, but i cant find it from my account or from elsewhere on the site. Even if i go to products.

And my back ground is Website building and Project management for large companies like Cognizant/Mirabeau and DigitasLBi Eg. so i know what i am talking about regarding websites and its useability.

So no stress or what so ever but perhaps we can get more people together besides with Hardware and rekordbox software. :)

The forums used to be a much better community, but with social media sites taking the spotlight in the person-to-person interactions, we've been left with very little beyond tech support. I wish it were more like the old days where DJs would chat about music and techniques, but I don't expect it would ever return to that since we're not the only option for places to chat anymore.

I'm sorry Pulse, but you guys really need to listen to the complaints about logging in here.

It is a massive problem and not just a case of clearing cookies, since the change quite some time ago, this forum is broken. It's as Alexander says, you log in one time, but when you return it says you are logged in, but you can't post ... without logging in...

I've tried this on numerous o/s, devices and it's always the same.

It started since you switched to the SSO with Zendesk and I guarantee you it's the No 1 reason why posts on here go unanswered.

@H3X > The problems actually arose when browsers add the cross-site content / cookie blocking security option, we had SSO before that and users didn't have any issues.

Ok, but it needs to be fixed - I've been trying to reply to this post for ages, but I could only just get in.
