Missing files not relocating

Hi There,

Im only new to Rekordbox and have just downloaded the newest version. I have an issue with around 400 of my songs not being able to relocate. I have watched tutorials and followed what is suggested but there doesn't seem to be a solution so far. 

I click on file, relocate ALL missing files and try to relocate the first track so than i can relocate all of them. However when i click on the track in my file to relocate and fix the problem it just comes up with a msg that reads ' missing file manager, this file is already in the collection'  . Than i am back to square one with my songs not working on rekordbox and not being able to relocate them.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Midgy,

What this means is you imported the songs, moved the files, imported them again, and then tried to relocate them... but since they were already in the collection, having been added that second time, they're not actually missing, but rather you have two entries for it. 

First, sort by song name. Find the song that is missing and compare it to its twin which is not missing; what is the import date for that second one? Is it the same for a large batch, if not all, of the 400 missing songs? If so, sort by date, find all of those new entries, delete them, then relocate and the old entries will be matched with the new file locations.
