Rekordbox USB Sync on cloud connected computer wont complete transfer to USB and is incredibly slow (over 1 hour to 5%)

Rekordbox USB Sync on cloud connected computer wont complete transfer to USB and is incredibly slow (over 1 hour to 5%)

Ive got about 20gb of music across 40 or 50 playlists to transfer to a USB. It wont complete the sync. I left computer on overnight and it still only got to 6% Unsure if its completing and Rekordbox software just doesnt realise its finished or not.

I expected it to be slow, but not this slow!

Is there a fix?

I have tried the following:

-Deleting contents of USB previously synced with main PC

-Formatting USB again

-Syncing only one playlist after the above

-Re Syncing cloud library then trying to sync to USB

-Syncing USB on main PC then trying to sync on laptop to update modified playlists that Ive changed on the laptop.

***Really need this to work early next week or im screwed for away gigs!

I think my my only other option would be to back up library on desktop pc to a USB hard drive and restore library on laptop which defeats the purpose of my cloud subscription...

The speed of a USB export is entirely dependent of the speed of a USB drive and its capacity to write data from the computer; rekordbox is not the bottleneck. See this video for an explanation.

Cloud sync speed is also dependent on an external system; your home network's upstream speed and the rate at which Dropbox can upload the music to its servers. I have 300Mbit fibre at home and can push 250GB in a day no problem. If you have a large collection and a slow connection, it's like trying to fill an olympic sized swimming pool with a garden hose.

Same applies for downstream if you're having to download the music before exporting it to a USB drive.

It must be rekordbox or dropbox

The usb in my desktop takes 10min max to sync with usb 3.1 port and device. it doesnt go past 6% overnight (12+ hours) on my laptop. I have just realised files are not stored locally on laptop but im on an "ultrafast fiber" plan {getting 100Mbps up speed and 230 Mbps down.

When using cloud sync, am I supposed to store files locally through dropbox on all devices used?

Will there be any issues syncing the same usb on both my main studio pc and my laptop?

formatted USBs tried 2 the same. same age. same amount of use over last 6 months.

1 in desktop synced in under 1 hour ( used to take 20min max from fresh before using cloud sync)

1 in laptop finally looked like it was working now that i store files locally on both computers  but has been frozen at 81% and a new error message is popping up (unsure if related to rekordbox or dropbox) it says "this file does not have an app assosiated with it for performing this action  please install an app or if one already installed create an association in the defult app settings page"  - may not at al be related but i literally only have rekordbox and dropbox in use on the laptop and its used for nothing else
