If your Surface computer is running the ARM-based CPU, rekordbox is not compatible - you need an Intel i-series processor for it to run.

Rekordbox compatibility with a Surface Pro X
Hi, looking everywhere but can't see anything online. Wanting to know if rekordbox runs on a Surface Pro X.
Any advice / help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I just purchased a Surface Pro X and find that Rekordbox does run on it fine, however, if you use the cloud via Dropbox, then you'll run into the issue that the desktop Dropbox app isn't compatible. Rather than the ease of cloud I now work off of SD cards. You'll need to get an adapter for USB and SD card too, but they're not hard to find. I admit some disappointment in this purchase.
I don't think Pioneer has put any energy into exploring optimizing the drivers for the controllers to work with this. I'm still exploring this, but waiting on the new equipment from Pioneer (backordered like everyone else). I did try it with my XZ, which I don't usually use with a computer, and it worked at first, but then stopped recognizing it through the USB. I'll try a new cable when it arrives and will update.
Between the Dropbox and Driver issues, I'd hold off on that until there's more development work on it.

How did you manage to install rekordbox on Surface Pro X? When i click the installer, i get the error message saying "a 64-bit of rekordbox cannot be installed onto your computer"
