Hardware unlock cdj3000

Hello,

Today I connected my MBP with RB 6.1.1 with a pair of cdj3000 and a djm 900nxs2 via USB to the DJM. All the equipment is connected via PRO Link DJ (via a network hub). Firmware in all devices are on the latest version (2.07 an 1.05).

Supposedly, the CDJ3000 is a hardware unlock device. So using perfromance mode should be easy as connecting the USB cable into the mixer and viola!

Today I connected my MBP (as I stated before) to this setup to run RB in performance mode and I couldnt get the players to link until I subscribed to the core plan (minimum). As soon as I did that, the players linked asap and I could play with them, selecting tracks and loading them into RB including streaming services.

How can I enable hardware unlock without paying? This is a big turn off as the CDJ 3000 is advertised as an unlock device?

Did you have the PRO DJ Link bridge driver installed?

yes.

all has been installed updated to the latest versions, including firmware to all players / mixer.

Did you ever try connecting the CDJ direct via USB?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, been away doing stuff.

Yes, if I connect the cdj directly I choose a deck and I can start browsing and playing right away.

So, bottom line,

1) connecting just the usb to the DJM with all players and mixer linked: no rekordbox performance.

2) connecting just the usb to the DJM with all players and mixer linked SUBSCRIBED TO A PLAN: YES rekordbox performance.

3) connecting the cdjs directly to the computer, no plan: yes rekordbox performance.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Hi, I have a same Issue not unlocking the Plan. I've chosen a free Plan, but I can not unlock with CDJs. (2x CDJ-3000) All connected via USB and it's in a Performance Mode. Of cause, all Firmware, Software are latest. I have a Mac with Monterey Vers. 12.6. Is there any Idea?? Thanks.

Hi, Thank you for your quick Response. Yes, it shows CDJ 1 and 2... I am just wondering... my free Plan, I do not see any Slider like they show on Web... let me put it this Way... How can I be sure that free Plan is unlocked? How can I check it? Thank you and best Regards.

Make sure you have rekordbox 6 in use. There is no "slider" in the GUI.
