If I buy a used DDJ 400, can I use the original Rekorbox license that comes with the box?

If a buy a used controller, can the old owner stop using the license and pass the license number to me to allow me to use it without having to buy a new one?

If you buy a used DDJ-400 the original owner has 2 options; keep the license for rekordbox 5, or include it with the DDJ. If they keep it, hope is not lost - the DDJ-400 will unlock rekordbox 6 for free without needing a key (it's a hardware unlock device).

so just to be clear, if i buy a used DDJ-400, it will be just a case of wiring it up to my laptop and i will just be able to use rekordbox 6?
