I have the same problem and did everything that is recommended to do (I only have Windows Defender and no VPN).
Is there any solution?

Communication with Rekordbox Agent Failed
I'm running version 6.2.0 and I'm receiving this error after multiple attempts.
I don't have a VPN running nor do I have anti-virus besides windows defender.
Rekordbox and all it's apps are permitted through my windows firewall application.
I've tried to run as administrator as well... Please help.
I've found only 2 related articles which suggests to write an inquiry (I've already done so)

Ok, I found a solution:
I thought Rekordbox Program File and Rekordbox Agent where added to my Windows Firewall after I checked this in - security dashboard - firewall and network - allow an app for firewall.
The problem is you can't see if the app is allowed for both incoming and outgoing connections. You have to check that via advanced settings.
I noticed Rekordbox Program File and Rekordbox Agent only added to the incoming traffic and not to the outgoing traffic. After I added both apps to the outgoing traffic the problem seems to be solved.
As this appears to be the only post related that I can comment on...
My solution was to change the port it uses as it was conflicting with something else on my system (though I'm not entirely sure what).
My laptop barely keeps up with Rekordbox and the DDJ-FLX10, so I'm using my Desktop for now. I also use it for a lot of Dev stuff and so the port conflict is not surprising (and most likely an "edge case" scenario) but maybe this will help others.

I changed "port" in options.json to 65001 from 30001, and "CloudAgentPortNumber" in rekordbox3.settings to the same.
After this I was able to run it.
