Hey Craig,
the RX2 will activate rekordbox 6 without the need for a license. Unless you have a need to stick with rb5, you can avoid the licensing issues.

Buying a secondhand XDJ-RX2, Help!!!! plz :)
Hey all! First and foremost, Happy Holidays! I need some help! I am looking to buy a secondhand Pioneer XDJ-RX2 and have a few questions...
1.I used to have a DDJ-1000 back in 2018 and sold it in 2019. It was registered on Pioneers website as well as Rekordbox with a License Key. I still have Rekordbox on my Mac (V. 5.4.2) but it crashes when I click preferences every time :( Will I need to activate a new License with the secondhand controller?
2. Other than transferring the license from the current owner to myself, is there anything else that I would need to do with the previous owner to ensure a smooth transition?
I appreciate any and ll help! Thank you so much!
