The backup does not include the music files; they are contained in a folder at the same location as the ZIP file you created. Please look there for that music folder.

Back Up Collection does not include music files, even when selected
Hi Pulse/Everyone
I have scoured the web and these forums but cannot seem to find anyone else who has experienced this which is so strange.
I am trying to backup and eventually move my collection/database etc to a new computer.
When I use the backup collection feature using the software I encounter an annoying problem. I have definitely selected the backup music files feature, but the final zip file does not seem to contain any music files. The whole process only takes a few minutes and I end up with a 700mb Zip file when my music collection is several hundred GB.
This is really frustrating as the restore doesn't work correctly either due to this issue.
Please help I am so worried my old laptop will die before this gets sorted.

Hi Pulse,
Thanks for the speedy reply, I had seen this in other posts and forgot to mention it in the post. There is nothing else in the destination folder, only the zip file.

Hmmm... and al the music you're trying to b/u is on the internal drive of that computer?
