DDJ-RZX Phone mixing issue

Hi,

I have a brand new DDJ-RZX. My issue:

  • If I press CUE button I can hear the selected channel loud and clear.
  • If I switch the MIXING knob to MASTER I don't hear the master the sound just get quieter and quieter until I hear nothing.

The configuration in recordbox looks good for me. What did I made wrong?

Cheers

Hey Greppie,

Did you also press the cue button for the MASTER channel?

No!

If I do both channels played with same volume and I can't switch the volume between them. If I turn the knob both channels will be faded in and out simultaneously.

Channel one is the current playing song channel two the one I want to listen in by headphones.

Nothing? I really need help, checked out everything on the controller and in the software.

Sure, I can press both CUE buttons and hear both channels but in same volume - so make no sense.

It's pretty useless if I cant fade between CUE and MASTER.

Do I need to return the device as it has an hardware issue?

Cheers again

Greppie, use the CUE MIX knob to pan the volume between the two sources (channel vs. master).

If you only want master, press the channel cue so it's disabled, or pan all the way to the MASTER side.

If you only want the channel, press the master cue so it's disabled, or pan all the way to the CUE side.

Now it works. My first Pioneer controller, didn't realized there's a CUE button on the most right MASTER channel. If you press it too it works.
