Recording in Rekordbox DVS

Hi, I'm trying to record my Mix in Rekordbox, but the record option is is blanked out when set on external Mixer. Current set up is Core plan DVS 2x Technics 1210, Pioneer SP1 and Xone 43c- all works very well together, except for the record issue. The following is taken from the Serato site, so I basically need to know how to dedicate a channel in the mixer for Recording like this in Rekordbox. Serato Site: The XONE:43C also requires that you designate a channel for recording, however this is done in the REC panel in Serato DJ, and does not need to be done on the mixer itself. Once you've selected your desired channel, connect an RCA cable from the REC OUT port on the back of the mixer, to the INPUT of your aforementioned, desired channel. Any help here is appreciated. Many thanks, Mike

HI, I don't know the answer to your query, but am keen to know your experience of using the 43c with Rekordbox. As I understand it, there's no MIDI signals sent from the EQs to the software, so am I right in thinking all the EQ adjustment takes place at the hardware stage? I'm looking at replacing my current controller with a 43c and a smaller MIDI controller, so am just trying to assess how different it will be. Thanks!

If you're using the Xone 43C as the audio output, you wouldn't want the EQ knobs controlling the internal mixer as the outputs to the physical mixer are per-channel direct, meaning the hardware controls the EQs as audio.
