[ XDJ-1000MK2 ] - what is the key on the backside for

Hello Community,

While cleaning the equipment I discovered that there is still a 25 character key on the label on the backside of the player.

It looks like a software key (xxxx-xxxx-x etc)

In my Pioneer Account I can register the player with the serial (S / N) number, but I have not found any use for the long key. There was nothing in the manual either.

Does someone have an idea what the key is for?
