XDJ-RX BPM Issues

Hi there, my Rx seems not to be holding the tempos of tracks, they keep changing while im mixing.. it the calibration to stop this happening, please.

Hey Dave,

Can you please check that you have analysed the songs in the correct method? If the song has a consistent electronic tempo, it should be analysed in NORMAL mode, but for songs with a live drummer (like rock or disco), you should use DYNAMIC mode. And once you've verified the analysis is correct, check the beatgrid is on the beats of the song.

Finally, it's worth noting that if you're using MP3s with a variable bit rate encoding that there's always a chance they may not play back at a consistent rate.

The BPM say is 140, it will just change to 138, and then 142... it won't stay still and its a struggle when that's going on.. i can have and have been doing it for months, hoping there is a recalibration fix, but can't find any way of sorting it out.

Dave, was the song originally analysed in Normal mode and is it an electronic (consistent) percussion? What about the encoding type, normal or variable?

yes it was analyzed in Normal mode, and yes its consistent.
