Do you have software with a license that allows you to do that? Both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro require the purchase of an add-on license to unlock DVS support.

i have paid for rekordbox software cost me $129 and extra $30 or something for dvs control. and the retail cost on the mixer is $3300, and the time code was $40 all up paid $3500 to use these features only for you guys to terimante the use of dvs and extort 10 us dollars a month in order to use the gear ive already paid for.

the djm2000nexus2 as a hardware unlock device. but it was advertised as having dvs control.

how come i can buy a djm mk250 for 500 dollars and have all this stuff unlocked but people handing poineer thousands of dollars get shafted through a software update?

Did you accidentally buy 2 mixers? They are $1700 brand new from an authorized dealer.

@brad > They are all advertised as supporting DVS functionality with an optional purchase; none of the say they include it:

The more expensive mixers are less likely to be used with a computer for performance; the intention is that most DJs are preparing their music in rekordbox for export to a USB drive to play in a CDJ. As such, the lower-model mixers include things like rekordbox performance mode or DVS unlock, such as the DJM-250MK2:
